Artist spotlight and GIVEAWAY!!!!

Something I will touch on a lot is my love of luminaries. A few years back I found myself discouraged that despite never actively paying attention to the Kardashians, I can name every single one and tell you more than I want to know about them. I realized I couldn't name a single artist, scientist, or anyone doing significant work. I made it my mission to find living inspirations. Having an artist's heart I tend to focus on artists.

So my first write up is my friend Heidi. We met in high school and had a conversation about our favorite boy band members. We found out we liked the same ones and it all started there. We share a birthday, similar upbringings, the same curly hair, bra size, thirst for knowledge and love of beauty. We are basically the same person. Another similarity is we both love yarn work. I'm more of a hobby knitter where Heidi is a master crocheter.

Heidi is my first living artist and believe me she is an actual artist! I am always astonished by what beautiful pieces she can make with a hook and some yarn! Aside from being an artist Heidi is a mother and homeschooler of three beautiful children. There are many more pictures of Heidi's work on her FB page but here are just a couple pieces that inspire me.

A loving tribute Heidi made for a local  fallen officer and his canine partner.

                                                                       This gorgeous Wayuu Mochila bag!

And one of my favorite characters of all time, Harley Quinn! My favorite pair of Lularoe leggings are                                      the red stripes and polka dots because they remind me of her classic jester costume!

**GIVEAWAY** Heidi has on her page https://www.facebook.com/HeidisLittleCreations/posts/1730893253886645
Be sure to like her page and comment on her post with your least favorite thing about the holiday season and you can win your choice from a beanie, messy bun hat, scarf, fingerless gloves or a set of dishcloths.

I highly recommend the dishcloths! Heidi makes these amazing dishcloths that are scrubby to take off all the tougher bits but are gentle enough for non stick pans! Think Scrub Daddy but washable, economical and won't fall apart after two sinkfuls of dishes!

So that is my first artist spotlight. Hopefully you enjoyed it because there will be more to come. Feel free to comment and tell me someone who inspires you and deserves more recognition! Maybe I will do a spotlight on them! I'm especially looking for living scientists because I only know of Bill Nye.

$10 Lularoe? All day everyday Lularoe Sales!

Full disclosure I love Lularoe! They have the most kitten soft clothing in styles that look and feel flattering on every body type! I don't know of any other clothing line where my little (size 0 sister) and I (plus size) can bond over our favorite styles. There is one major issue with Lularoe clothing for me and that's the price! I love the "buttah" feeling on my booty but I don't like paying $25 to feel it! So I have this GOOB group. Those in the know, know GOOB means going out of business, which translates to CHEAP LULA! So if you love Lula or you just want to see what all the fuss is about and don't want to spend an arm and a leg come try out our group! We have all day everyday GOOB Sales from mostly former but some active consultants! You'll find anywhere between 30% Off to wholesale and even cheaper! And yes we are accepting consultants looking to host a sale! No one gets turned away in this group! This will be the last Lularoe group you will join e…
